115 Jackson Adaptive Reuse

Rehabilitation and Adaptation of building with a 100 year history. The project is located in Seattle’s Pioneer Square and was once two separate buildings side by side. In the 1930’s they were joined together by a unifying facade and housed many uses including manufacturing and textile fabrication. because the of the shared masonry fire separation wall ran down the middle of building, we created a central corridor there and loaded housing and retail on both sides of our 3 story + penthouse building. 26 apartments were possible along w/ 4 small retail spaces and restaurant at the ground floor.
